MJ is a certified personal trainer and nutritionist who specializes in strength training, muscle growth, weight loss, and mobility.
While attending Humboldt State University, she studied dance movement education and expanded her knowledge of movement patterns through dance, aerial arts, and animal flow, then began focusing on strength training for the supplemental benefits for athletes, as well as the health and physique benefits.
Now she combines these interests into a well rounded training practice. She has taught many inactive individuals how to progress to weight lift safely, as well as mobility practices for everyday movement and beyond. She offers customized 1 on 1 training for your specific fitness and nutrition goals, as well as Pilates fusion and Aerial Flow classes at PNF.
